Who we are
This site (ao-work-from-anywhere.vercel.app and any agency-branded variant under the same domain) is operated by AO Globe Life, an independent agency affiliated with Globe Life Inc.'s American Income Division. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “AO,” it means AO Globe Life, the agency operator of this recruiting site.
What this site is for
This site exists to recruit independent insurance producers into AO. Everything here is part of that recruiting process. We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account information, credit card numbers, health information, or other sensitive financial or medical information through this site. If you become an applicant or a producer, that information is collected later through separate, secure systems with their own privacy notices.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the application form, we collect your first name, your phone number or email address, and your U.S. state of residence.
Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, our systems and our service providers automatically log your IP address, browser type and version, the page you came from (referrer), the page you land on, and the date and time of your visit. We also store the marketing campaign tags (UTM parameters) attached to the link you used to reach us — for example, whether you arrived from an Instagram ad, a Facebook ad, an organic social post, or a direct link.
Cookies and similar technologies. The site uses cookies and equivalent technologies to keep the site functional and to measure ad performance:
- Strictly necessary — session cookies needed to load the site; bot-protection cookies set by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic.
- Analytics and ad measurement — when configured, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API record that a visit or an application happened so we can measure which ad campaigns produced applications. We share hashed contact information with Meta for matching; clear-text personal data is never shared this way.
How we use what we collect
We use the information described above to:
- Contact you about producer opportunities you applied to, by phone, text, or email — depending on the contact method you provided.
- Route your application to the correct AO recruiting team or partner agency based on the URL you arrived through.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and bot traffic that would otherwise overwhelm the application system.
- Measure which marketing channels and creative variants produce real applicants, so we spend our advertising budget on what actually works.
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your application data to train any artificial intelligence model, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Who we share it with
AO recruiting partners. If you apply via a specific AO agency's branded URL, your application is routed to that agency's recruiting team for follow-up. Recruiters within AO and within Globe Life Inc. who support the recruiting process may also see your information.
Service providers we rely on. Our site is built on infrastructure provided by Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (bot protection and content delivery), and Meta (advertising). Each of these providers processes information on our behalf under standard data-processing agreements.
Recruiting workflow tools. Once you apply, your contact information may be passed to AO's recruiting workflow systems (which may include automated outreach tools). Those systems are operated by AO or its partners under the same recruiting purpose described in this policy.
Legal disclosures. We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public from harm.
Business changes. If AO is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users and update this policy if that happens.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as it is useful for recruiting follow-up and for a reasonable period after that for record-keeping, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Typical retention is up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be kept longer.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to limited exceptions for legal record-keeping or fraud prevention).
- Opt out of marketing contact. Reply STOP to any text we send, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. You can also email us at the address below.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by the CCPA. Within the past 12 months we have “shared” certain limited identifiers with our advertising platforms (Meta) for the purpose of measuring our own advertising performance.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. Email us using the contact details below to exercise them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest where offered by our hosting provider, role-based access controls, and database-level row-level security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using current industry practices.
International users
This site is intended for U.S. residents. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your home country. By using this site you consent to that transfer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page tells you when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be flagged on this page or through other reasonable means.
